The Sofa-bed demounting mechanisms
Type 1 is the rapido mechanism, which supports the backrest cushions and enables the transformation of the three-seat sofa into a bed in one step.
Type 2 is the classic mechanism, which is drawn out together with the sofa seats, while the backrest cushions are unattached, facilitating the implementation of the most modern design solutions and various combinations of prints.
Both mechanism are two-step, enabling the usage of standard mattresses (suitable for everyday use) 12 to 14 cm thick, which can have a core of PU foam of a 30kg/m3 specific weight, PU foam and latex, or memory form. Steel meshes in the supporting part and elastic bands at the foot part of the mechanism ensure comfortable sitting and sleep, where the feeling of comfort does not differ from that of a regular bed.
